Megan James plays a dynamic role in Australia’s Information, Communications and Technology industry as the first and only female CEO in the rapidly expanding and fiercely competitive data centre sector.
The appointment acknowledges her expertise and experience gained over her 20 year career in the highly competitive and relatively new industry. Former General Manager and founding staff member, the operation has seen ongoing success under Megan’s management. She has been instrumental in growing the offering of the data centre to what it is today, and qualifying it for appropriate panels for Government Business.
Megan’s background is in business management and marketing with a strong IT focus. Having climbed the ranks of software, storage and hardware organisations, and being in the data centre market since 2001, Megan has a diverse range of experience that suits this ever-evolving market of cloud and infrastructure.
A highly respected industry executive and passionate human being, Megan James is Vice President of Women In IT and Communications – an organisation that encourages education and participation of women in the IT industry. She also sits on the Board of Breast Cancer Network Australia, for which her philanthropic efforts have spanned over 20 years.
